Collage

2023 - present

The seeds of Collage can be traced back 60 years, yet it only began to blossom in 2023. While my earliest work, hand-colored B&W farm equipment, 3D photo/paintings, and traditional analog landscape photography are not featured on this site, they have also paved the way towards this new portfolio, each a stepping stone.

Every collage intricately weaves together layers and layers of images drawn from my own extensive library of photographs and paintings, complemented by elements from the work of artists from past centuries in both painting and sculpture (available to public domain). I am fascinated by the creative constraints imposed upon them, and inspired by their remarkable artistry that flourished within those boundaries. This intertwining informs my current work capturing the nuanced interplay between past and present, beauty, and the cycles of life.
