Having first wielded brushes before lenses, I returned to the abstract, sensory realm of painting, this time exploring the medium with oils, oil pastels, palette knives and fingers. I sought a departure from the structured confines of analog photography, eager to enter a distinct, visceral, and tactile creative dimension.
